Parenting has never come with more advice.
Be gentle, but firm. Stay calm, but hold the boundary. Validate every feeling. Build resilience. Foster independence. Stay connected. Manage screens. Watch their mental health. Don't shout. Don't punish. Don't get it wrong.
It's no wonder so many loving, capable parents end up exhausted, second-guessing themselves and wondering why something this important can feel so hard.
At The Calm Parenting Co., we think parenting has become too focused on getting children to change, and not nearly focused enough on equipping the person raising them.
So we're changing the focus.
We help you build the understanding, skills and confidence to handle the hard stuff: to see what's really happening beneath behaviour, strengthen connection, hold boundaries without fear or guilt, and lead your family without losing yourself in the process.
Not harder parenting. Not softer parenting.
Stronger parenting.
Because calm parenting isn't about raising perfectly calm kids or becoming an endlessly patient parent.
It's about becoming the steady, confident leader your child can rely on, especially when things get hard.
Stop trying to fix the child. Build the parent.

I've spent more than 20 years working with people and families, with a professional background spanning psychology, parenting education, behaviour change and supporting people through some incredibly challenging periods of their lives.
I've taught evidence-based parenting programs, coached parents, written parenting books, and spent years studying what helps people create meaningful, lasting change.
But some of my most important lessons about parenting haven't come from a textbook or training room.
They've come from raising four children of my own.
I've navigated the morning chaos, sibling battles, slammed doors, big feelings, behaviour I didn't know what to do with, and those parenting moments that look beautifully straightforward when you're reading about them and considerably less straightforward when you're standing in your kitchen trying not to lose your mind.
I've got things wrong. I've reacted when I wish I'd responded. I've questioned myself. And I've learned how to find my footing, repair the rupture, and try again.
That's why I don't teach perfect parenting. I teach real parenting.
The kind that combines warmth with leadership, connection with boundaries, and evidence with the reality of raising actual human beings.
The Calm Parenting Co. brings those worlds together: what I've learned professionally, what research tells us about children and families, and what I've learned living parenting from the inside. Because I don't believe great parenting is something you're simply supposed to know how to do.
It's something you can learn. Something you can practise. And something you can become more confident at doing.
My aim is to give you the understanding, skills and support to trust yourself more, second-guess yourself less, and become the calm, confident leader your family needs.

Parenting advice has become strangely polarised.
Be firmer. Be gentler. Set consequences. Don't use consequences. Hold the boundary. Validate the feeling. Connect first. Don't give in.
No wonder parents are second-guessing themselves.
At The Calm Parenting Co., we don't believe great parenting lives at either extreme. We believe children need connection and leadership.
They need parents who are warm enough to understand what's happening underneath behaviour and confident enough to guide it. Parents who can make room for feelings without making every feeling the boss. Parents who know that boundaries and attachment aren't opposing forces.
Not harder parenting. Not softer parenting. Stronger parenting.
And we believe parents deserve something better than another list of things they're doing wrong.
You don't need more guilt. You need a clearer way forward.
There is more parenting information available than ever before. Yet plenty of parents still find themselves thinking:
'Okay... but what do I actually DO?'
That's because knowing more about parenting doesn't automatically make parenting easier.
Knowing what to say during a meltdown doesn't necessarily help when you're already overwhelmed.
Understanding connection doesn't automatically make boundaries easier.
And saving another parenting reel certainly doesn't mean you'll remember it when everyone is losing their minds at 7:42 on a Tuesday morning.
That's why our approach doesn't start with trying to fix the child.
It starts with building the parent.
Real change happens when you develop the capacity, understanding and confidence to see the whole picture: you, your child, your relationship, what's driving the behaviour, and how you lead your family through it.
That's the thinking behind the Chaos To Calm Parenting Formula, the six-step roadmap that underpins everything we do.
Rather than chasing individual behaviours or collecting disconnected strategies, we help you understand where you are, what needs your attention, and what to work on next.
Because calm parenting isn't one clever technique.
It's something you build. And something you practise.
Inside The Calm Parenting Club, you'll follow the Chaos To Calm Parenting Formula, with the practical tools, step-by-step guidance and ongoing support to help you put what you're learning into practice when parenting gets messy and real life gets in the way.
Because knowing the way forward is one thing.
Having the confidence and support to actually follow it is another.
Build yourself. Lead your family.
